Travel BrazilThis route is to see the best of Brazil, of course it can be changed depending on your preference - some people never want to leave the beach for the mosquitos of the Amazon. View Larger Map Brazil has something for everyone - surfing at Praia da Pipa, buggy rides in Natal, and boat rides up the mighty Amazon. This route starts and ends in Sao Paulo, but in reality you can start or end anywhere and it will still be an amazing travel experience. You will mainly be traveling by bus. Brazil has a great bus system with many routes intertwining the country. Other modes of travel include boat and dune buggy. Here are also some general travel tips: Always carry your cash spread out in different pockets that way if you get robbed you can just pull out a stash from one pocket and still have money in the others - remember thiefs are usually in a big hurry and they just want quick cash, so they likely won't search you. Try to sit near the front of the bus, most robberies occur in the back. Keep an eye on your things - on the bus, at the beach, in hostels and pousadas... This may seem obvious but there are times when your mind wanders. A good idea is to put an arm or leg around or touching your bag, this way you will feel it move if someone is trying to snag anything. Don't act like an idiot. I hate seeing loud and obnoxious travelers. When you do idiotic things to make yourself a target don't look for sympathy from me. Please, maintain the travelers appreciative reputation. Traveling in Brazil is easy and fun. You will have the experience of a lifetime. And please remember to respect local culture and customs.
